Hi, I'm Margaret. "I've always liked talking to people, initiating that creative 'spark' is my passion and mission."

If you’ve looked through my portfolio, you’re now wondering what the rest of the story is. Creating a beautiful space and respecting the products that make up that space is where my head and heart lie. I have excellent communication and leadership skills focused on motivating others to realize a common business objective. I’m now at a point to start a new adventure in my field of expertise, which is a passion for Home & Shelter in all media.

To succeed in this business, and it is a business, you have to develop customer-focused brand stories that deliver a consistent and relevant experience. Solid creative, excellent photography, stellar graphic design provide the foundation for successful art direction. Without these components, it’s difficult to create the customer-focused brand stories that excite the shopper and invite her back time and time again. I will say it takes a focused team that’s determined to meet a challenging business strategy, and the creative component in this case was key.

The corporate manager side of being a Creative Director includes account management, working with production departments, gathering requirements from buyers, vendors/retail partners, project management in print and online media. Building strong partnerships is key, because yes, it’s a challenge to stay on deadline and keep it all within budget. And we all agree, meeting sales expectations, and supporting merchandise strategies is the ultimate goal.
